This is a one of a kind movie prop from the movie Tomorrow Never Dies. As far as I know this is the only remaining model boat from the movie. The others were either blown up or destroyed during filming. The boat is 35 inches long and 12 inches or one foot wide. The depth is 6 inches. The model has some scuff marks on it. Maybe they are from during the film or from storage. The only real damage to the main boat is that the propeller which has 4 fins (for lack of a better word) coming out of it is missing one of the fins. Still it would be very easy to mend. This boat comes with a letter from Golden West Models (the special effects company that did "Tomorrow Never Dies" The letter authenticates the model and says the boat was made for the motion picture. It reads as follows: " This letter authenticates that the model lifeboat sold to (my supplier), was built for use in the James Bond motion picture "Tomorrow Never Dies". Golden West Models fabricated this model during the spring of 1997, which was used in filming that summer. Sincerely, (his signature) Robert Wilcox Golden West Models LLC. We also had the chance to obtain 1 smaller only white boat (19 inches long and one foot wide) which was made before this boat to make sure what was clearly needed for the final product!
