We got in a great find! This is half of a wheel from the screen seen special effects Landrover in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. In the opening shot of the James Bond film THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS a Landrover is seen going over a cliff and Bond (Timothy Dalton) is parachuting out of the Jeep. This scene was filmed in 1986 in Sussex, England at Beachy Head. The Landrover was a fibre-glass model and was catapulted from the top of the cliff, when it landed it partically disintegrated. This tire wheel was obtained from my vendor directly. He collected this item after filming ended at the foot of the cliff. In the lifeboat station in Eastbourne, Sussex there is even today reference to the date in 1986 when the lifeboat had to be on call in case of casualties when filming! A real great actually screen seen prop from the film! The item comes also with a letter of authenticity of the vendor and of course our coa! A grea find with crystal clear history!
